‘Me, Myself and Misha’ is a heartfelt, autobiographical work presented by Terpsichoring Dance Company, devised, and performed by award winning dance artist Ana Silverio. The show explores the emotional journey one woman goes on to become a mother. Universal themes of pregnancy and labour are presented using a mix of physical theatre and dance, alongside an original and moving musical score. This heartfelt and unique production tells the experience of one mother, the challenges she faces and the joys that come with motherhood.
Terpischoring Dance Company’s Ana Silvério is an early career choreographer based in York. She is originally from Brazil, where she studied and actively performed, among other disciplines, Brazilian folk dances. Ana received a First Class Honours degree in ‘Choreography, Methodology and Pedagogy of Dance’ in Saint-Petersburg, Russia. She specialised in ballet - Vaganova technique.
