Since it was established in 2008, UKNA has provided specialist training, development and high profile showcase and collaboration opportunities for more than 1800 emerging artists.
Our ambitious projects invest in the creative talent of the UK’s next generation of artists, writers, performers and creators.
We present a diverse, cutting edge public programme showcasing work by new artists for audiences to experience, for free.
Through our ‘Creative Citizens’ community engagement programmes we demonstrate how creativity can enhance the lives of young people, and how the arts can improve opportunities, wellbeing and life skills.
We give enriching creative learning and “first time” arts involvement for more than 200 young people in the East Midlands every year, including those with least opportunities.
