TrueMendous carefully intertwines the art of storytelling with ear clenching wordplay, bizarre punch lines and in detailed poetry to narrate her work towards her audience.
Alongside having already released 4 projects, she has performed at Exit Festival in Serbia and Montenegro, headlined a segment of this year’s Cheltenham poetry festival and has worked with BBC 1xra and BBC Three.
Originally from Birmingham, TrueMendous now resides in East London and is continuing to pursue her career in the capital currently working on her first poetry book.

TrueMendous is an underrated genius when it comes to storytelling. She narrates cleverly constructed thought provoking scenarios and situations in pursuit of helping members of her audience.

Whilst some of her stories are merely humour focused and balance between punchlines, wordplay and complex flow patterns, others are more stripped and navigate towards solutions of overcoming such issues as: mental health, abuse, anxiety, depression and broken households (just to name a few).

The reception towards her work is usually jaw dropping. She separates her talent and ability from other poets/rappers via the way her mind articulates and creates her work. On top of this, her clarity and deliverance go hand in hand with her stage presence and the creativity of her visuals/live performance.
