Materia Critica

Materia Critica is a multimedia creative studio. Video, photography, graphic design, product design and installation are used to create symbolic parallelism to make visible what normally is not even perceived. With a human-centered and multidisciplinary approach Materia Critica investigates social phenomena and changes. Recent works include: Parrhesia Set (MAXXI, Roma, 2016), Octopus (Museion, Bolzano, 2015), Kitchen Sharing (Reciprocity design, Liège, 2015). Originally from Italy, the three founders of Materia Critica: Francesco Elipanni, M. Naomi Galavotti and Martina Ranedda met during the studies at the Faculty of Design and Arts at the Free University of Bozen, where graduated in 2016.
