Marco Tagliafico

Marco Tagliafico (1985, Alessandria, Italy) During a ten years working career he studied as a self-taughtphotographer. In 2015 he attended a one year photography class in Genova. In 2017 is finalist for “How do you want to be governed” award by Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio Modena and takes part of the “10 years old” exhibition. In 2018 he graduated from Master di alta formazione sull'immagine contemporanea – Fondazione Fotografia Modena.

Cosmic Mud

The real is a shapeless matter. The creation of images is a continuous attempt to define this ambiguous, incomplete, fragmented matter. Cosmic Mud is a stratification of printing processes and the reproduction of images. Every image depicts itself and creates a new object at the same time, in a potentially endless loop. The sign of a possible world alters and questions the relationship between the reality of objects and their images.
