Music and Poetry (double bill)
Nobuto - ‘Tell me again: for piano and mixed media’

An ambient work performed in darkness. Fragments of sound, text and images swirl around in an undulating landscape, evoking ideas of memory, nostalgia and internet culture.

[Strobe warning: contains rapid visual sequences that may be uncomfortable for some viewers.]

Meriem Jouti - ‘Moroccan Drums’

Meriem Jouti is a young Moroccan spoken word artist. Too shy to speak when she was younger, she was dependent on writing to express her emotions and to communicate with the world around her. Once she gained the confidence to speak up, she took the stage to finally voice her thoughts and share her feelings.
