UKNA 4C Group £10,000 Bursary Now Open for Applications

 

‘And Eventually, a Plate’ with UKNA 4C Group Bursary Awardee 2023/2024 Parham Ghalamdar held at Canopy by Hilton London City.

UK New Artists and 4C Group are offering a £10,000 bursary for UK-based UKNA Alumni artists who consider themselves at a turning point in their career. UKNA and 4C Group recognise the difficulties faced by those struggling to further their career without support. You may feel that you have faced difficulties due to social, cultural,  economic or access conditions, which has impacted the development of your practice. Over one year 2024/2025, the selected artist will:

  • Receive a bursary of £10,000 to fund the development of their practice

  • Access to knowledge and support from the UKNA team and our wider family, friends and partners 

  • An opportunity to be part of East Midlands Rising (subject to funding)

  • The awardee will also enjoy opportunities to engage with Canopy by Hilton London City during the year through presentations and residencies as appropriate to the work selected

Eligibility

  • Artists must be within the first 10 years of their professional practice

  • Artists from all art forms can apply

  • You must be eligible to live, study or work in the UK and be doing so at the time of making this application 

  • Individuals, collaborators and or collectives can apply

  • You are a UK-based UKNA Alumni (we consider this to be those who have been selected for any UK New Artists or UK Young Artists programme from 2015 to present)
