Location: Lincoln Arts Centre, Brayford Pool, University of Lincoln, LN6 7TS
The film documents the first ‘Reet Good’ project, an electric, dynamic and trail-blazing event of Live Performance Art. 'Reet Good' seeks to break down barriers, challenge preconceptions and boldly centre and illuminate the work of Deaf, Disabled and Nuerodivergent Artists. The film follows the journey of artists on a 4 day residency, lead by Pierce Starre, shared at QUAD Derby. During this residency, artists articulated and developed their individual practice within a temporary environment of co-creation and collective sharing. Following the film screening, you'll have the chance to delve deeper into the artist's vision, motivations, and artistic process during a Q&A session with Pierce Starre led by Laura Guthrie.
‘Reet Good’ was supported through the Arts Council England National Lottery Project Grants as part of the UKNA Future Producers programme.
