Hannah Fredsgaard-Jones (Asthmatic Harp)

ASTHMATIC HARP is the musical moniker of Oxford based songwriter and composer Hannah Fredsgaard-Jones. Through the ethereal autoharp, gentle guitar strumming, hushed and tumbling melodies, Asthmatic Harp is synonymous with a sound that manages to be comforting, folksy, eerie, and personal, all at once.

Born in Denmark before moving to the UK, Hannah began performing on the London music scene with her debut EP in 2015. In 2018 she was handpicked to the prestigious Roundhouse Resident Artist Program. Her latest EP was featured on BBC6 Music and Danish National Radio and added in rotation on Uniradioen (DK) and KB Radio (CA).

Tales From a Fearful Flyeer

Following her single-trilogy with songs named after three London Tube stations, the alt-pop vehicle Asthmatic Harp now presents Tales from a Fearful Flyer, a selection of songs exploring the weirds and wonders of a fearful flyer’s journey getting from A to B and beyond. With her captivating mix of mesmerising songs, imaginative arrangements and charismatic performances audiences are presented with songs of love, myth and phobia alongside fragments of childhood memories from a young, Scandinavian dreamer.
