My work is based around secondhand clothing. During the creative process, the main body of the garments have been cut out, leaving only the seams. The procedure hints at the absence of the individual that previously carried and/or owned the item of clothing. I have explored and cut my way through different types of garments to examine how the content play an invisible role in the shape of the clothes that is canceled out, as well as the new shapes which unfold through the positive and negative areas. For each piece of clothing, I have decided to keep parts of the textile in order to achieve a variety of new shapes.
