Matt makes songs that are often hard for him to play. However, he can’t help himself if that harmony feels right.

Matt has songs from when he was about seven, but only plays the ones from when he was about fourteen. Learning predominantly by ear, Matt has a unique approach to guitar and song writing. Some songs are a little odd but surprising. Whilst writing, he’ll let these songs take the lead with no predetermined outcome, letting an odd feeling linger a while before finding their meaning.
