Ode to the Unsung Heroes is a collection of poems focused on finding the beauty and pain in everyday life. Ode to the Unsung Heroes started off as a single poem about Ife’s favourite shopkeeper but ended up becoming a wider story and anthem for the forgotten in society. In each poem, Ife highlights a new person, object or concept that we take for granted in society or never think about at all. His poems promise to make you laugh, make you sad and completely change your perspective on what it means to experience everyday life. Ife work will take you on a journey of the heroes in his life, and leave you questioning who are the unsung heroes in yours?
