Anna creates representations of places using contours of the land to produce a 3D topographical work of art. Using different techniques and materials from wood to silver ensuring the prevention of limitation, searching for qualities which could enhance her work, exploring for the right material for the specific project at hand, she endeavours to create work of various scales that represent places of personal importance. Entranced by one’s connections and emotional ties to specific places which play major roles in life, the personal connection between the owner and the work is an important element of what Anna creates.

Anna creates Wall Hangings and Jewellery using many different techniques and materials from wood to silver ensuring the prevention of limitation, searching for qualities which could enhance her work. Entranced by one’s connections and emotional ties to specific places which play major roles in life, the personal connection between the owner and the work is an important element of what Anna creates. Anna’s work offers a new perspective on the container within which we live our social lives, putting one’s head, one’s eye, and one’s heart on the same axis by using geographically correct information. She assembles an interpretation of space that helps one understand how they see his or her world, how they interpret their everyday human activities that take place within it.
