Ella Frears and Fauve Alice

Ella Frears is a poet and artist based in London. Her collection Shine, Darling (Offord Road Books, 2020) was shortlisted for both the Forward Prize for Best First Collection and the T. S. Eliot Prize for Poetry. Her poems about the St Ives Modernists are currently on display at Tate St Ives.

Fauve Alice is a performance artist and director based in London. Her work has been shown across Europe at international theatre and performance festivals and she is a fellow at Birkbeck University's Centre for Contemporary theatre.

Ella and Fauve connected through UKNA’s ‘United’ programme; an international residency in Kristiansand, Norway, and Leicester, UK. They formed a collaboration to create a new work for UKNA Leicester City Takeover 2022.
