Oliver Quinn
Oliver Quinn explores our relationship to immaterial space and our time spent participating within it. Using flat environments and intangible frameworks allowing the viewer to find lines of flight for the eye to wander through propositional spaces. Passing through structures and encountering objects in a process of silent production - bringing together action and contemplation through simulated movement.
LINEAR SKIPPINGS. (LEVEL 3)
Fineliner Drawing on Wallpaper. Part of an On going series of Levels.
The work explores our time spent within immaterial spaces and seeks to engage viewers into a time based spatial narrative within the framework of a virtual space. Separate spatial markers of various sizes each claim a part of the environment to mark the here (now) and there (then) to the viewers time spent moving through the eye, bringing into question the suggested physicality of the structures that guide our simulated travel.
