The Language of Youth: Poetry Workshop

Are you a young person based in the East Midlands? Have you got a way with words - or just love messing with them? Join us for a FREE, one-day creative writing workshop with writer and comedian, Jay Sandhu.

This session is about inventing words, remixing language, and changing how we connect. We’ll have a chance to put some of your work to beats and create mini-tracks for you to take home. Whether you're scribbling lyrics in your notebook or dreaming up a fictional book, this is your chance to explore the power of language in a fun, hands-on session and create your own unique piece.

When: Saturday 1st March 2025

Where: Coreset, 17a Friary Road, Newark, Nottinghamshire, NG24 1LE

No prior experience is necessary. Lunch and materials will be provided – just bring your enthusiasm and an open mind!
