UK New Artists and 4C group is offering a £10,000 bursary for UK based UKNA/UKYA Alumni artists to support their professional practice and creative development.

UKNA and 4C Group recognises the difficulties faced by those who would struggle to further their career without support. You may feel that you have faced difficulties due to social, cultural,  economic or access conditions. Over the course of one year 2023/2024, the selected artist will:

  • Receive a bursary of £10,000 to fund the development of their practice

  • Access to knowledge and support from the UKNA team and our wider family, friends and partners

  • A place on the New Artist Collective/Derby 2024. Click here to find out more about the 2023 New Artist Collective

  • The awardee will also enjoy opportunities to engage with Canopy by Hilton London City during the year through presentations and residencies as appropriate to the work

We are extremely grateful to 4C Group for their investment, through their generous support of the UKNA 4C Group Bursary which allows UKNA to provide ongoing support for one of our UKNA Alumni.

“Being awarded this bursary has had a hugely positive impact on my career, it has allowed me to take the next steps in my practice, particularly with the investment in a studio which gives me the freedom to fully explore and develop my creativity.”  Wesley George UKNA 4C Group Bursary artist 2022/2023
